It Takes Two

Heart is a strangely beautiful organ that God has systematically installed right in the center of our chest cavity. In literal terms it has four chambers and some vessels to pump blood making sure body is getting enough vital nutrients and oxygen for its survival. Well, it is more complicated in its abstract terms as it is soft for one we love, strong for those we hate and indifferent towards unknown. How blood, oxygen and nutrients create so many senses, is difficult to fathom? But as per scientists’ theories these feelings originate in brain as a result of chemical flow. It hardly matters from where they set about and where they leave off but these feelings need to be always expressed in raw state. The language of heart is simple to comprehend in words. All it needs is love, affection, honesty, care and above all, a heart needs to be understood without judgements and assumptions. It carries the burden of infinite un-said and un-expressed desires, fears, anger and faces the turbulence caused by bumpy ride of life, still it keeps on beating at its own pace. When everything goes beyond the hold, it needs a caring vent. It desperately searches for another who could give a relief and heal it for a while. The only remedy it seeks is a heart to heart talk, in which the words that are making an exit must be perceived the way they are…no alterations, no modulations. A simple, unbiased talk has a magic contained in it. A small honest talk has the gravity to change the whole course of life. Un-fortunately we rarely get that ordinary or special one to open up with. At some points we feel like living a fake life. We tend to hide our real self and behave in a manner which makes us feel accepted in society. We live vital lies and hide simple truths because of the fear of getting un accepted. Each and every person wants to be accepted but the irony of the situation, no one accepts anyone, despite the fact, all want one and the same thing. Everyone has that corner which is so fragile that we are afraid of even peeking into but secretly want it to be touched by someone who could read and understand the way it is. I just hope one fine day each heart gets another complementary heart to write a happily ever after story.
